The Midnight Charter

The Midnight Charter is a book written by David Whitley. It is the first book of the three part series. It was published in 2009.It recieve a lot of positive reviews,it was even nominated for the Carnegie Medal but lost The Graveyard Book. But I didn't understand what was the hype about.

The good
.Nice Cover.
.While the story was dull it did have some interesting ideas.

The bad
.Boring characters.
.Dull story.
.To me the ending sucked.

The conclusion
Some of my friends said the book was really interesting but to me the book was totally boring. The book did have some interesting ideas but is let down by dull characters and a boring story.Maybe it's just me but I felt I had wasted money. To some it might be a great but to me it was just dissapointing.
