The Magician is the second book of the series The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel This time they are in Paris the city where Nicholas was born. It was published on 2008 and like the first book it received many positive reviews.
The good
.Like the first it is humourous and packed with adventures
.I really like the combination of Machiavelli and Dee(It was funny seeing them together)
The bad
.Mars died without any fighting scene while the legendary Nidhogg and the was pathetic.SPOILER ALERT (I mean the Nidhogg was defeated just like that I know it was stabbed by Clarent but still it was like the monster was nothing)
Quick summary
They have escaped Dee in Ojai and went to Paris but Paris is now full of people working for the darkelders.Nicholas managed to get some help thanks to Saint German (a student of nicholas once)and his wife Joan of Arc(a friend of Scathach)Nicholas gives Clarent to josh to protect himself and Saint German teaches Sophie the magic of fire.......................Buy the book if you want to know what happens.
The conclusion
The Magian is a book filled with adventures,humour,Legendary myth creatures and long dead famous people the book is fun to read again and again but I still thinks the timeline is riculous I mean all that happen in two or three days.it is still avery good book which sets me more expectation for the next book.

The Sword of Waters
The Sword of Waters is written by Hilari Bell.This is the second book of the series The shield,the sword and the crown.It was published on 2008.This time the main character is Arisa.
The good
.Like the first book I really loved the cover and the tarots card that represent each chapters.
.More adventure and mystery than the first book
The bad
.To me it was to short it could have told more on my opinion.
.Weasel appeared less which is dissapointing because my favourite character is weasel.
.While in a way the story improved and feels more adventurous it lacks some charm the first one gave me.
Quick summary
Arisa was bored since her mother the Falcon(a bandit)became the commander she had nothing to do,so her mother asked her to search for the Sword of Waters.Arisa also suspects her maid is in a group trying overthrow Justice Holis and her mother.So she tries to learn their secret by working for her ..................that's all for now
The conclusion
The Sword of Waters is better than the first book it has more adventure and more mystery.Character like Edoran and Justice Holis appears more.It also feels more adventurous not that the first one isn't anything but the second book with Arisa as the lead helps the book to become more adventurous.

The Alchemyst
The Alchemyst is a book written by Michael Scott in the year 2007.It is the first book for the series The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel(there's 6).
The good
.The Alchemyst is a book that is fun to read again.
.Michael scott had made the characters very unique and humuorous especially Dee.
.You will love how he redone the history and the character.
The bad
.I had a problem with the time I mean what only three days has passed since the begining of the book.
Quick summary
Josh was working in a bookshop owned Nick and his wife Perry.Suddenly a man named Dee came wanting to take a book called Codex from Nick and Perry because it contains the secret to immortality and more.Nick and Perry fought Dee using magic in the end Nick and Perry lose,Dee kidnapped Perry.Josh managed to rip 2 pages of the Codex before Dee took it(Dee didn't notice because Sophie(Josh's twin sister)was hitting him.......... buy the book if you want to kow what happen.
