Hello readers are you having a good holiday I Know I'm not.I'm juust too busy to get any chance to relax anyway enough about me.I read the second book to the Bran hambric series.It is written by kaleb Nation and it was published in 2010.
The good
.Really nice cover
.The story feels more matured and adventurous comparing with the first book.
The bad
.The book is a little bit shorter than the first one.
.The Wilomas doesn't show very much in the book.
Quick summary
While working in the Wilomas bank Bran found a Deposit box with his mother's name.So Bran took the box and try to open it and found a key.While investigating who made the key he met his father whom he thought was dead.When his friend Astara is kidnapped by the Specter ......................Sorry I have to stop now.
The conclusion
To me this book feels a bit lacking than the first one because the Wilomas doesn't appear very much(I really liked them)and while I did say this book feels more adventurous but as it gets near to the end it feels a little bit incomplete at the end.Anyway for the one who likes the first one is definitely like the second one too and I have to say the book does have a elly nice cover.

The Accidental Hero
This week I read the Accidental hero or some of you who already read might know it as Jack Blank and the Imagine Nation(old title, I think the new one is better).Anyway the book is written by Matt Myklusch the book was published in 2010(I think it is republished in 2011 with the new name)
The good
.Jack Blank cast of characters is definitely interesting.
.It feels a little bit like Harry Potter(not as good though)so for Harry Potter fans this is good book to read.
.The story becomes betteraafter a while
The bad
.At first the story feels a little bit dull and cliched

Jack Blank is a boy that was left in the orphanage one.Everybody there consider him afreak since if he gets mad something weird normally happens.One while walking outside the orphanage a robot(that looks exactly like in his comic book)appears and try to kill him.Somehow the Jack managed to survive.After that a police came after him to question him about the accident but actually................................That's all I guess.
The conclusion
If you just read the book first 5 chapters and think this book isn't going ba any good and stop reading you are probably wrong since I thought about that idea too but I didn't have money that day too buy anothe r book so I decide to just finish it and after a while the story picks up more interesting characters appear.I will definitely recommend it for the Harry Potter fan.But to me truthfully I prefered the Knightley Academy Better.

The Help
Hello everybody as you can see on the post title I read the Help.Normally I read books for young adult bt recently I felt a little tired on reading books for young adult so for a change of pace i decided to read The Help.
The Help is a book written by Kathryn Stockett.It was published in 2009 and receive absolutely positive reviews.
The Good
.Absolutely great characters(To the main 3 characters to Hilly,Celia and even Skeeter's Mom)
.An absolutely amazing story that will make you feel like crying and laugh numerous times.
.Really nice cover (to me it really suites the story)
The bad
.There is nothing bad I can say except I really hoped that Celia's backstory would be more explored.
Quick summary
The Help is set in Jackson Mississippi around the 1960s.There are three main characters The white outcast Skeeter,The Help with great cooking skill but likes to talk back about her clients Minny and Aibileen the Help who is now raising her 17th Child.The story is told revolving around the three main characters.Skeeter just return from college and was suprised to find her help Constantine was fired she doesn't like how her friends treat their Help and decided to write about what does the Help thinks about their employer.Minny is now working for Ms Walters an old lady who is quite deaf but one day gets fired by Ms Walter's daughter by accusing her of stealing Silver.Lastly is Aibileen who is now taking care of her 17th child but she feels depressed since her son jst died and how the employer is treating their Help.Together the three women tries to make a change in their town........I guess that's the end of the summary.
The conclusion
When I was deciding what book to read I looked at the bookstore's shelves and found myself attracted by the cover.I hear do of the book before ofcourse but I really never tried to bother since I normally read young adult type of books.Anyway I decide to buy it and thought to myself it might be great book and I was definitely wrong The Help is an absolutely amazing book.Supplied with great story and more amazing characters it is an absolutely muust read book.To me the ending felt a little sad,the main characters does have a kind of good ending but it feels more like a bitterswweet ending.What I'm trying to say eventhough the have a good ending I still feel sorry for them but I guess in real life a truly happy ending never really happens.

White Cat
Hello every body last week I read a book called White Cat.It is a book Written by Holly Black(yes the one who co write the Spiderwick series).It was published in 2010 and receive Positive reviews.

Cassel comes from afamily of workers(people who have the ability to change or alter memories,Emotion,Luck and so on with just a touch)but unfortunately he is not a worker so basically he is a normal kid counting out the time he thought he killed his best friend.Eversince that he tries to be normal but one day when he found himself waking up on the school rooftop...........................That's all I guess.
The conclusion
To methe book started real slow and a boring,not to mention some dull characters but if decide to read on,the story will become more intersting pluswith a not so bad ending.To tell you the truth I really tried liking the book since a lot of my friend does but to me it is just an average book not to bad not to good.So now I'm thinking why in the world did my friends said this is a must read.There can only be two answers it is either on ourdifferent taste on book or perhaps they have been worked.

Some of you might wonder how in the world does my marking system works some times getting a 10 may not mean that it is a perfect book to me but some part of the book is too great or special to me that it overshadows the negative so sometimes eventhough I may ive it a 10 it probably has some flaws.

Siren is a book written by Tricia Rayburn.It was published in 2010 and receive some positive reviews.This is the first book of the series.

Hello everybody this I read 13 Days till Midnight.It is a book written by Patrick Carman and it was published on 2010.It receive a lot of positive reviews.
The good
.Great leading characters
.I really like the how the story starts,how it forms in the middle and how it ends(so basically I've got no complaints on how the story is written
The bad
.It feels too short
.I really hoped character liked Ethan showed up more
.While I like Ophelia when you arrive at the middle part of the book she became a little annoying but after a while she becomes okay again.
Quick summary
Jacob took a break from school for a week since his stepfather died in a car accident.While he was gone there is a new girl name Ophelia that came to the school.After he came to school the first person he meets is Milo his best friend which tells him that a new girl had come to theschool.When he met her he was................That's all I can give.

The book kept asking the same question If you could have 1 superpowers what would you choose and if you do have them what wold you do,this is the question that Jacob keep asking himself since he feels guilty because the death of his step father.13 days till midnight is a great book the characters is really interesting and the story flows well.Jacob is a really likable character he ponders on two questions yet we knows that he won't get that answer that easily yet to me it shows that Jacob is just like any other person.

The warlock is the fifth book of the Secret of Immortal Nicholas Flamel and it was published in 2011 it recieve positive reviews from critics

.Some characters taht works for the dark elders like Virginia or Billy is shown more emotion

.Didn't like some of the plot twist especially the ending

The twins are now divided,Nicholas is very sick and no Dee have the Codex.Meanwhile in the tomb of Paris Osiri,Iris(Dee's master) and the Witch of Endor freed Mars Ultor because they think that they need Mars Ultor now.Niten and Sophie try to search for Tsagaglalal without the help of the Flamel since Nicholas is sick and perenelle has to take care of him Nicholas will die today but since Perenelle give one day of her life(she has two Nicholas survives for..........................that's all I guess for the summary

Sunshine
Sunshine is a book written by Robin Mckinley.It was published in 2003 and it was republished in 2010 because the of Twilight I think(yes this is a vampire book)This book receive positive reviews and won the Mythopoeic Fantasy Award for Adult Literature in 2004.

.Sunshine is a better heroine than Bella

The Good Earth
Last week I've reread a classic novel called the Good Earth(yes the one that Oprah showed at her bookclub but actually I've read it first then I found out out that she once had it in her bookclub)It is written by Pearl S Buck and was published in 1931 and receive a Pulitzer Prize in 1932.
The good
.I like how the story was told it was like reading an autobiography but of course it is more interesting.
.O Lan was a terrific character(Spoiler alert:I cried when she died)
.While the ending was sad I really liked it
The bad
.I really hated Wang Lung and Cuckoo for how they treated O Lan
Quick summary
Wang Lung wakes up and prepare himself since today he is going to get married from a slave girl at the House of Hwang her name is O Lan.Luck is on his side as his harvest grows healthily(thanks to O Lan hard work)and he is gifted with a baby boy(after O Lan gave birth she quickly helps Wang Lung at the field )So with some money he bought some land at the House of Hwang since they have so many and their harvesting isn't doing that well........ That's all I guess.
The conclusion
The Good Earth is a great classic filled with detailed description about China(when the author was young she lived there)the story shows about the hardship people has to go through and O Lan sad story makes this one of the best book I have ever read.

Earwig and the Witch
Sorry about my late post I finished already but forgot to publish it by mistake anyway last week I've read a short story by Diana Wynne Jones this is her final book while I hope her final book would be more longer and aimed for teens but I guess she didn't had anytime left.Earwig and the Witch is a short story published in 2011.

Hello everybody this weak I've reread(yes you read right)Mary Quinn The Body At The Tower(Since I've just got the third book)it was published in 2010.It was written by Y.S Lee and the second book of the series.
The good
.Mary and Japas is as likeable
.Great cover
.The story has more of a mystery theme tan the first book
The bad
.While Mary and James are likeable as ever some new characters aren't that likeable
.The story is a little

Inkdeath
Hi everybody last week I read Inkdeath(I'm still not sure why I read it and the first two was just okay.Anyway it is the third book and the last of the series.It receive mixed to negative reviews.
The good
.The story becomes more interesting this time.
.Elinor is as likeable as ever.
.Some characters hold more crucial part this time(Violante,Orpheus,Resa,etc)
The bad
.Meggie becomes less important in this book.
.Sadly Elinor doesn't appears much.
Quick summary
Now Mo,Resa and Maggie are stuck in Inkheart because Fenoglio wouln't write anymore and they didn't want to ask Orpheus.Mo keeps pretending to be Bluejay(a hero created by Fenoglio in the last book)and fughting soldiers but Meggie is worried that her father might die.Meanwhile Elinoris miserable in her house because all of them had dissappeared after alot of mourning Darius decide to try..................that's all I guess.

The Demon's Covenant
Hello everybody this week I read The Demon's Covenant the second book of the series it is written by Sarah Rees Brennan.It is published in 2010 and receive positive review.This time it tells from Mae point of view(The first one is Nick.
The good
.The characters are more alive this time(youcan't help loving Mae and Nick,feeling sorry for Jamie and Anabelle(Mae's mother
.The story has improved(The goblin market is shown more it explores the world more)
.I really liked the cover(the one with the illustration)
The bad
.Nothing I can say that is bad except for the cover(I managed to bought the illustrated one but I almost decided to buy the one with real people on it)I have said before that I don't like cover with real people on it but this book takes it to a whole new level the back ground is so tacky I wanted to scream(Thank goodness I managed to find the illustrated one but it was really hard to find)

Mae now returns to her normal life but one day she saw Jamie talking to Gerald(a magician in the obsidian circle)she quickly calls Nick and Alan.Gerald is trying to make Jamie to become one of their mages.jamie thinks of agreeing since he thinks Gerald can help him control his power but Mae is not......................That's all I can say read the book it definitely worth it.
The conclusion
The Demon' Covenant is an absolutely amazing book. it has amazing story lovable characters and absolutely enchanting setting.Sarah writes her story with action and humour like nothing.Mae is definitely a great choice for the main character in these book,she was so spunky and adventurous that even I were suprised on somethings that she did,perhaps what made Mae a standout was that she was one of the weakest main character in the book but that didn't stop her,she tried everything to save the one she loved even Nick and Simon with her bravery that you simply cannot but feel respect for her.The ending managed to suprise me.This book is definitely going to be one of my favourite book for years to come and it shows that Sarah Rees Brennan is an author that is to be reckoned with.

Hello everybody I'm really sorry that around this 4 month I haven't be writing any post that quickly.I was really busy I was focusing on learning a new language and it takes so much time.Anyway enough about me last week I read a book called The Demon's Lexicon it is written by Sarah Rees Brennan.It was published in 2009 and it is the first book of the triology.

Nick Ryves and his brother Alan keeps fighting a group mages to protect their mother.One day a pair of siblings(Mae and Jamie)came to them seeking help because Jamie has been cursed and she heard rumours that they knew something about magic.When Nick is about to kick them out(not a people person)Alan let them stayed mainly because he has a crush on Mae.So they decided to go the Goblin Market(a place where people trade magical items and summons demons(but mages aren't allowed can you believe that)there.......That all I guess.
The conclusion
The Demon's Lexicon is an absolutely great book while it does have it badside like the cover,some part and characters should have appeared more but it is outshined by the greatness of the story and the characters and afterall if she explained and talked about everything there would be nothing to put in the sequel.

The Knightley Academy
The Knightley Academy is a book written by Violet Haberdasher.It was published in 2010 and receive a lot of positive reviews.It tells a story about Henry Grim an orphan who works as a kitchen boy accepted to a prestigious Knight School.
The good
.An unfortunate boy sent to a boarding school with a teacher who hates him,classmates who loathe him.Harry Potter Fans would definitely love this book.
.Funny characters,and I like how the characters developed when the story goes further.
The bad
.To some who loves the mystery and adventure they find in Harry Potter,They wont probably find that much in this book.
.I just hoped the ending could be more epic.

The Ogre Downstairs
Hello everybody Last week I read The Ogre Downstairs.It was written by Diana Wynne Jones.It was published in 1974.It did receive some positive review.
The good
.The characters are hilarious
.It has a very Imaginative story
The bad
.Too short(It's only about 250 pages)
.Not much of an adventure book
Quick summary
When their mothe marrries 'The Ogre'two of her sons immediatly dislike while Gwiiny was less jugdemental sice he onceheled her when she was lost.
When he moved in to the house he brought his two sons Malcolm and Douglas(the ogre's sons)of curse Caspar and Johny(Sally's sons)butfor the sake of theirmother they decided to pretend to care.One day 'The Ogre'bought two non chemical chemistry set.One for Malcolm and one for Caspar but when Caspar was mixing the substance Gwiiny accidentally......................Tha's al I can say since the book is short.

The Ogre Downstairs is a funny book with wild imaginative story that will definetely make you have a good while it is quite short and it could have probably more adventurous.The author probably decided the story was just about the family and for that I applaud her since she really manage to tie the strings to make an enjoyable for me.

Stardust
Hello everybody sorry I couldn't write the post but beside that I really hope that you enjoyed my blog for the past year thanks to everyone who made time to read my blog llast week I read stardust a book written by Neil Gaiman.Since I really liked the movie I decided to give this book a try.It was published in 1999 and recieved a lot of positive reviews.
The good
.I prefered some characters in the book than the movie like Victoria.
.Great story with smart characters.

.The book was too short.
.Some part were just left hanging.
.The book lack character develevopment

Thristan is a boy who lives at Wall travel to Faerie to take a fallen star to his beloved Victoria,At the same time the king of stormhold ask his 3 sons to look for the star for who could find it will become king,At the same time three witches are looking for the star too so they can eat her heart so they caan be young again............That's all I can say it's hard to say anything without revealing too much.
The conclusion
Stardust is a fun sweet tale but it is quite short and leaves some thing unanswered.The characters are really great but it lacks character development but probably it's trying to follow fairytale style so character development never that in fairy tale anyway.Nonetheless it is a great book not to be missed for those who love fairy tale I just hope he could havemde the airship part more longer.

Howl Moving Castle
Hello everybody this is the last post for this anniversary month and I'm going to unveil one ofmy favourite book it is called Howl Moving Castle.To young reader you probably won't recognize since it was a book almost 25 years ago but to the one who watch the movie(yes the movie by Studio Ghibli)you might be familiar with it.Howl Moving castle is a book written by Diana Wynne Jones(one of my favourite author)It was published in 1986.It is the first book of the series.

Sophie Hatter is the eldest of the three so she is doomed to fail(rumour) after her father died she had to work in her father hat shop there she meets a woman who starts asking strange question after Sophie managed to make the woman turned Sophie into an old woman(she was actually the Wicked Witch of the Waste) and she cannot tell people that she is under a spell unless they already know about it.So she deciced to seek her fortune by going to Howl(a wiard rumoured to take souls of young women)since she has nothing tolose............................That's all I can say.

The conclusion
Mary Quinn A Spy in the House is an amazingly entertaining book.It is filled with great characters a smart and fun story and a truely good book to read again so what can I say any more.

The Night of the Solstice
Hello everybody this month is a very special time it is the first anniversary of my blog like I said before I will write about three books that I have given a 10.(since I made this blog the only book that receive a ten was William S The Great Escape) the first one is The Night of The Solstice.It is written by L.J Smith.It is the first book of the two part series.
The good
.Smart and funny characters
.The story focuses on all the brother and sisters.(which is very good since sometimes some characters in a book doesn't appear very much)

The Midnight Charter
The Midnight Charter is a book written by David Whitley.It is the first book of the three part series.It was published in 2009.It recieve a lot of positive reviews,it was even nominated for the Carnegie Medal but lost The Graveyard Book.But I didn't understand what was the hype about.
The good
.Nice Cover.
.While the story was dull it did have some interesting ideas.
The bad
.Boring characters.
.Dull story.
.To me the ending sucked.

Mark a boy who is almost twelve years old suffers from disease the n his father sells him to a doctor to become his helper.There he meets Lily a servant girl who works for the doctor's uncle.The doctor and mark stayed with Uncle for a while until one day they had an arguement.The doctor angrily decided to leave but Mark didn't want to go so he made a deal with Lily that he will become the doctor's uncle servant while she becomes the doctor's helper than.........That's all I can say

Some of my friends said the book was really interesting but to me the book was totally boring.The book did have some interesting ideas but is let down by dull characters and a boring story.Maybe it's just me but I felt I had wasted money.To some it might be a great but to me it was just dissapointing.

William S and The Great Escape
Sorry I couldn't write my post a little bit early anyway another post will come out about another two days.This week I read William S and The Great Escape it was written by Zilpha Keatley Snyder and it was published in 2009.
The good
.Great charcters(yes I know I always say that I like the characters in books but to me this is one the best character group I've ever read)
.It has a smart'funny and imaginative story.

The bad
.The book was too short.
.I hoped the book was filled with more adventure(I'm actually really like the story but I hoped there more advanterous scene)

Brainjack
I actually started reading these six days ago but I need stopped reading to concentrate for my exam so this review came a bit late sorry.Brainjack is a book written by Brian Falkner.It was published in 2009.
The good
.It has has a really great story.Genius hackers,A crazy computer system and brainwashed human what's not to like.
The bad
.Dull characters(there wasn't a lot information given about the characters so it was hard to like them)
.I wasn't satisfied with ending it didn't explain what happens to the other characters.
Quick summary
Sam is a genius hacker one day he tries to hack into the white house because he heard there was a meeting where genius haackers gathered.It was actually a trap set by the goverment to trap haackers like him.The goverment thought he was talented and decided to make him work for them.There he meets a couple of hackers their job is to make sure people dont go into the goverment files but..............Thats all.
The conclusion
Brainjack is a very good book it has a great story but sadly it is accompanied by some dull characters and a bad ending.If you are a fan about computers or hacking(I hope not)you may like this book but if not you may feel a little left out on some part but anyway Brainjack does give you something to enjoy your weekend.

Witch Season Summer
Hello everybody I'm really sorry that I couldn't write my review faster tomorrow I have soome free time so I'm will write another review.Two weeks ago I've read a book named Witch Season Summer it is the first book of the series it has 4.(Fall,Winter and Spring)It is written by Jeff Marriotte.
The good
.A very suprising ending (I really didn't expect that to happen)
.Great characters(Let's just hope some of them stay dead)remember Forbidden Game.
The bad
.The Witch is not a very good villian
.A not so original story.
Quick summary

Malice
Malice is a book written by Chris Wooding.It was published in 2006.It is the first book of the series.
The good
.Great illustration(the illustration are presented like a comic).
.Well written story some parts of the book you can really feel like reading a comic book.
The bad
.The book was too short for me.
.Tall Jake doesn't appear very much(I mean I thought he was supposed to be the main villain)

The Crown of Earth
The Crown of Earth is the third and final book for the series The Shield,The Sword and The Crown series.It is written by Hilari Bell and was published in 2009.
The good
.Like the first two books it has a wonderful cover.
.Like I've said before I like that there are a torot card to represent each chapter.
.Edoran journey with Arisa was humorous
The bad
.Weasel and Justice Holis practically didn't appear at all.
.The Shield,Sword and Crown were just old rusty artifacts that have nothing to do with magic(This explanation must sound stupid but I actually really believe that the artifacts will be something magical.I know I already complain about this but I thought something will happen when all three artifacts gather sadly it didn't.

The Falcon has kidnapped Weasel because Weasel wore Prince Edoran's coustume so Edoran decide to go to meet Falcon and save him.He ask his servant to wake him up early so he can follow the soldier to meet the falcon but the servant like all the workers once had work with Pettibone.The servant just leave him to sleep for the whole afternoon.When Edoran wakes up he was furious because his servant didn't listen to him he sneaked out of the castle and on his way he met Arisa............That's all for now

I Am Number Four
I am number Four is a book written by Pittacus Lore.It is published in 2010.It is the first book of the series(there are six).It recieve many positive reviews.The movie will come out vey soon.
The good
.It has a brilliant story,lots of action and great characters.
The bad
I think the author should have made Mark amd Number 6 appear more.
Quick summary
There were 9 aliens from planet Lorien(they look like humans)and their guardian which were sent to earth when their planet were destroyed by The Mogadorians so that their race still lives on.After they arrived at home they all parted their way.They all put under a spell so that the can only be killed by their position numbers.Unless they meet each other then the spell will be broken and everybody can be killed.When each of the aliens die a scar will appear on their body so that they know that the Magodrians are closing in on them.After a coupl of years there are three scar on John Smith body he knows he is in danger because he is number 4.John and Henri(his guardian)quickly moves to Paradise,Ohio.There he befriended a girl named Sarah Hart and a boy who is obsessed about aliens sam Goode at the school........That all I can say.
The conclusion
I am number 4 is a book filled with action.It has great characters and a great story.It does make me wonder what is store for us for the next five books.It may not give an impact like Harry Potter but it does prove to be very enjoyable.

The Kill
The Kill is the final book of the series the forbidden game.Like the first two it is about Jenny trying to free from Julian clutches and saving her friends.It was written by L.J Smith and published in 1994 like the first and second book.
The good
.I love the ending(I think it was aperfect ending for the book)
.This time it shows Julian human characteristic more(which is very good since I never thought that he was that evil)
The bad
.The other characters(beside Jenny)doen't shine like the first two.
.Some suprises in the story makes me hate the book much more because it ruins everything.
Quick summary
Jenny and her friend went to her granfather house to search for clues about the Shadow Men so they went into her grandfather house only to be sent to the shadow realm by Julian.They find themselves in a twisted version of a carnival like the one they visited in the morning.After a while Julian appeared and tells them they have to find three dubloons he will let them go.Whille they were searching for the dubloons they saw Summer....................that's all for now

The Chase
I'm really sorry that I couldn't write any post for awhile I was cleaning the house we will probably be moving soon.Putting that aside I managed to read The Chase.The Chase is the second book of the series The Forbidden Game.The book is set place about three month after the first book.

.This time the book concentrate more about the story
.Shows more about the characters life.

.It doesn't have any parts that make you feel that you're reading a horror book(the first book had it)
.Didn't like the ending

Jenny and her friends try to explain to the police about Summer's disappearence but the police thought they were taking drugs and imagined all that so they decided to just keep quiet.Jenny met a girl she was PC and Slug's friend(The thugs who took the game in the first book)PC and Slug was missing as well the girl told Jenny that after they brought the game in her home they disappered.Jenny is afraid that they are dead and Julian is now free.Julian meets Jenny in the night and decided to play another game with Jenny and her friends...................That all for now.

The Hunter
Hello everybody today I'm reviewing a book called the hunter but probably a lot of people had already read the book since it was published more than 15 years ago.The Hunter is a book written by L.J Smith it was published in 1994 it is the first book of the series The Forbidden Game.
The Good
.It is an easy read(Some book I find it very difficult to read without feeling bored or like the Blaze of Glory,Amber Spyglass or the Graveyard Book)

.I hoped there was more horror I mean I was expecting some gruesome death or something(not that I like that very much but when you read the first three chapters you quickly think about a scary movie where a group of teenages being stalked by something,normally in the ending we are left with only 2 or to 3 person but in this book this was not the case)
.It was too short it could show more about the characters darkest fear.
